RESPONSIBLE LEADERSHIP

Responsible leadership is a type of leadership based on values, responsibility speaks to the meaning of responsible leadership, responsible leadership being socially responsible is a core component of responsible leadership, and global leaders have global responsibility. In the chain of responsibility, leaders are responsible to the community and stakeholders based on relationships with stakeholders, they are responsible to their organization and subordinates. Organizational values, leadership values, personal values, organizational culture, organizational climate, organizational trust, organizational alignment, business ethics, characteristics, and self-perception contribute to creating responsibilities for responsible leaders. The chain of responsibility, responsible activities, and responsible leadership create operational systems and are responsible for empowering and supporting the entire organization to align the vision with strategies and policies to achieve strategic goals. Responsible leadership creates change, innovation, and creativity and they are accountable for the outcomes of change, innovation, and creativity. As a result, responsible leaders create an organization-wide system of accountability.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY
DRN highly appreciates and encourages students to prepare to read materials before class and actively participate in class discussions. Interactive instructional methods such as case studies, exercises, and activities will be used throughout the sessions.

PARTICIPANTS

For all members of businesses and organizations’ Responsible Leadership Development Consulting Project Team, the Responsible Leadership training course is held at businesses and organizations’ offices and locations. In addition, students nominated by businesses and organizations to attend the Responsible Leadership training course do not include the Responsible Leadership Development Consulting Project at businesses and organizations’ offices and locations.

OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING COURSE
Understand the foundation of responsible leadership; responsibility and business ethics of responsible leaders towards society, community, stakeholders, organization/company, and department/unit, members of the organization/company, and subordinates. Responsible leaders are responsible for themselves. Understand the competencies of responsible leadership. Understand how to engage with the challenges of responsible leadership. Learn delegation methods. Training in responsible leadership practices towards sustainable development of the organization.

OUTCOMES OF THE TRAINING COURSE
Understand the outcomes of responsible leadership, the process of developing responsible leadership, and practicing responsible leadership. Practice responsible leadership, empowerment, engagement, and responsible leadership by example.

THE TRAINING COURSE CONTENT AND SCHEDULE
Day I

Why responsible leadership? What is responsible leadership? The concept of responsible leadership. Leadership by example. What makes a responsible leader? Qualities a responsible leader should have. Competencies and attitudes required of responsible leaders.

Day II

The challenges of responsible leadership. Empowerment and engagement methods for responsible leaders. Responsible leadership development. The outcomes of responsible leadership.

Day III

Practice responsible leadership.
